Privacy
Last updated 7 October 2026
The short version: this website doesn't collect anything about you. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking, no forms. The DropHound app isn't out yet; before it is, this page will be updated to explain exactly what the app collects and why.
Who we are
DropHound is an independent project based in the United Kingdom. For anything about privacy, email hello@drophound.co.uk.
This website
- No cookies and no similar technologies.
- No analytics or tracking: we don't use Google Analytics, Meta pixels or anything like them.
- No third-party content: fonts and images are served from our own site, so loading a page doesn't tell anyone else you visited.
- Hosting: the site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles the technical details your browser sends to load a page (such as your IP address) and may keep short-lived logs for security and to keep the site running. We don't use those logs to identify you. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
If you email us
We'll use your email address and what you send only to reply to you, and we won't add you to any mailing list. We keep emails for as long as we need them to deal with your message, then delete them. Our email is handled by our email provider on our behalf.
The DropHound app
The app is still being built. When it launches it will need some information to work, such as which products you want alerts for and a way to send notifications to your phone. Before the app is released, we'll update this page to say exactly what it collects, why, how long we keep it, and who runs DropHound at that point.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Email hello@drophound.co.uk and we'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
